The 2014-2015 Speech and Drama season is well under way and with only state left to compete at. The team is filled with anticipation to see who will win that first place trophy at state on January 30th and 31st in Ennis. “This has been an incredible season and the amount of talent on this team is unbelievable” said Kari Blaylock, Speech and Drama team coach.
Divisionals were January 24th and many of the competitors did great. The members that qualified for state at this meet were Ethan Peterson and Avery Connor first in Classical duo, Kacin Perret and Ashton O’connor second in Serious duo, Greta Sanders first in Serious solo, Honey Cranston fourth in Serious solo, Erin Dringman second in Impromptu, and Megan Gerrard third in Original oratory. They will be traveling to Ennis this Friday in the hopes to bring back a win.
This will be an exciting final competition for this years team and they will surely live up to the outstanding reputation that Big Timber has come to achieve over the past years with the help of the fantastic Kari Blaylock and she will continue to produce speech and drama prodigies throughout the future.
